SANTORINI CAFE 11X14 in, Acrylic on canvas, SOLD

Tourists like Christine and me visit the Greek island city of Santorini which is located high on the cliff 1000 feet above sea level and is accessible by hopping the tram to the top, by walking or by riding a donkey. We trammed up and walked down beside the donkeys and over everything they dropped on their frequent trips. Impressively hotels, restaurants, and homes are built precariously but securely on the side of this volcanic rock. It is breathtaking. This painting is framed in dark mahogany frame with a linen liner. Who knows how many photographs and paintings have been inspired by these breathtaking vistas. Mine is one.
